The Meteorological Agency has prepared two images that show the possible extent of lava drainage in case of volcanic eruption. Look at the two places where measurements indicate that ignition is likely to break its way to the surface. Similarities indicate that there was an average eruption of 0.3 km3, which is comparable to the extent of Arnarseturshraun in Reykjanesskagi. In comparison, the size of the eruption in Holuhraun is estimated at 1.2-1.6 km3. See more on our web: https://www.vedur.is/um-vi/frettir/skjalfti-m57-a-reykjanesi
